Some of you may know that I am big fan of true crime books! The last one I read was Dead Air – The Disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit by Beth Bednar. I read a lot of true crime and I made it all the way to the end of this book, wanting to read more! A lot of true crime books are dry, and once you get the basics, you just want to move on to another mystery. This was not the case with Dead Air. It is one of those books that when you are finished reading it, you feel like an old friend has moved far away, and you won’t be seeing them for a long time. I know that a lot of people would not enjoy reading about a possible kidnapping and murder as fun entertainment, but there’s always something in me that makes me believe that “I can SOLVE THIS CASE!” It’s never happened yet, but I keep thinking that I can solve one of these mysteries.

This case has been featured on shows like 48 hours and other crime shows. It’s about a beautiful tv news anchor named Jodi Huisentruit that disappeared, and is likely dead. The evidence points to one likely person of interest, but there are other possibilities, and just not enough evidence. Jodi’s body has never been found. I would love to see this case solved.

While I’m writing about true crime, I’d love to read a true crime book about the disappearance of Jacob Wetterling. If there are any authors out there, I’m putting my request in and letting you know I’d put that book on pre-order if you published one about him.
